Thank You from Pottastic

After seven memorable years, we are saying goodbye to Pottastic. Today marks our last service, and with hearts full of gratitude, we’re passing this space on to new hands. Choosing October to open and close was a way to come full circle and honor the journey. Back in 2015, we transformed this empty storefront into the restaurant we dreamed of. From quiet beginnings, with your support, we grew. Even through the challenges of the pandemic, your loyalty lifted us and helped us carry on.

As we close, we’re grateful for everyone who came by one last time, bringing stories of favorite dishes—the pork stomach chicken soup, spicy chicken pot, and honey pepper shrimp—and taking home pieces of our tableware. We hope these mementos remind you of your time here and bring you smiles.

謝幕 | 東𣾀軒以心謝幕,感恩同行!

隨著我們將餐廳移交給下一任,我們帶著滿滿的回憶,正式結業。10月既是起點,也是終點。這一天是我們7年前開業的日子。其實在那之前,我們籌備了整整兩年,把這裡從一間空蕩的店面改建成擁有完整廚房、抽煙排水系統,並可容納108位客人的餐廳。從設計到建造,一點一滴、一步一腳印,這裡的每一磚一瓦都見證了我們的心血,才有了今天我們喜愛的模樣。

開業時還沒有人知道我們,但很快地,在大家的支持下,生意火紅起來。即使在疫情時期,不得已解散了大部分員工,艱難地靠外賣支撐,但有大家的熱情,我們重新堅強地走了過來。餐廳最後一天,隨著最後一位客人離開,餐廳再度恢復了空蕩的狀態,彷彿回到了最初的那天。世事正如此,經歷一段精彩旅程後,我們回到了最初的寧靜,而這段美好回憶將豐富我們的靈魂。

十分感激大家為我們挪出時間,陪我們走完最後這一程。我們見到很多熟悉的面孔,有人帶著家人特意前來支持,也有因朋友介紹而來的新客人,還有我們的各方好友的祝福和鼓勵。每一位都提起東𣾀軒的豬肚雞、麻辣雞煲、蜜椒蝦,大家說灣區再也吃不到了,還有那些支持的說話,都深深溫暖了我們的心。其實,本來準備好直到關店的所有食材在上週末已售罄,甚至還一度要暫時關店補貨。至於碗碟,當年開業時備有許多作為後備。扣除給下一任的數量,還有多餘的平價出售給客人作為紀念;剩下的我們已自行收回,如果有人感興趣,可以私下聯絡我們。希望這些被帶走的碗碟,偶爾能喚起大家曾在這裡的美好時光,讓你們時不時想起我們、想起東𣾀軒。

再見啦各位,再見啦1號店!我們正式收爐!

AN EXPERIENCE LIKE NOTHING ELSE

A mix of different cuisines in Asia, POTTASTIC is where the classic Asian style meets modern taste. Different from other traditional hot pot restaurants, we feature Two Ways In One Pot; where you start with a aromatic sizzling pot and end with a rich simmering broth. It is an unique experience that we are waiting for you to explore.

 

TRADITIONAL INGREDIENTS WITH A MODERN TWIST

Apart from hot pot, the variety of dishes in our menu is endless. From traditional Cantonese beef brisket; to Malaysian style sambal seafood; to fusion maltose garlic tofu, we encourage people to try something different each time they enter our restaurant. We are the group of people who are passionate in exploring new combinations using the most traditional sauces, spices, and fresh ingredients. At POTTASTIC, we believe that there's always room for improvement, even a small twist could make a traditional dish taste better, appear more healthy, and more unique.

Tasty Chicken Pot
東滙雞皇煲

Our signature dish Hong Kong style chicken hot pot in a new way of eating. 

 

Shrimp Cake with Long Bean
蟹籽蝦肉釀豆角

Freshly made shrimp patty wrapped with long bean. Since the preparation is labor intensive, we only have limited servings each day.  

 

Deep Fried Maltose Garlic Tofu
麥芽金沙豆腐

Crispy tofu glazed with maltose syrup and fried garlic. It a great starter to pair with beer. 

 

Pan Fried Honey-Black Pepper Prawn

Chinese Cabbage w/ Ham and Cream Sauce

A very popular dish in Hong Kong, originate from Beijing. The Chinese Cabbage stalks hold up well to the cream sauce and the seasoned with salty ham. 

 

Sambal Beef
大馬參巴醬燒辣牛肉

Sambal is a traditional chili and spice paste in Malaysia. It pairs well with beef. 

 

 

Tom Yum Kung Seafood Soup
泰式冬陰公海鮮湯

This Thai soup has well balanced of sour, spicy and savory, and it's incredibly aromatic.

 

Fried Soft-Shell Crab w/ Sweet Chili Sauce
酥炸軟殼蟹 配泰醬

Deep fried soft-shell crab that is crispy outside, while remains creamy and sweet inside. Paired with the sweet and tangy Thai sweet chili sauce, this crispy crab is unbelievably delicious.

 

Stir Fried Sea Cucumber w/ Scallop and Surf Clam in Abalone Sauce
鮑汁海參燴澳洲帶子北極貝

Tenderized sea cucumber, sea scallop, and surf clam. Served with Chinese broccoli.

 

Crispy Fried Noodles
多款煎麵選擇

Crispy and saucy, cone shaped egg noodles pan-fried until they form a crunchy-on-the-outside, tender-in-the-middle cake. Topped with a choice of stir-fried meat, seafood, or vegetables.
